We will post an update on Facebook (www.facebook.com/jewisharlingtonheights) and send out an email by 4:15pm if the lighting has been moved.

Let’s Celebrate Chanukah Together!

Get ready for an unforgettable Chanukah celebration today! Join us as we light the Menorah, standing tall and proud, bringing warmth and light to our community and the world.

With over 200 participants expected, this will be the largest public Jewish celebration in our town's history! Special guests include Mayor Hayes, the Village Board, State Senator Mark Walker, State Representative Mary Beth Canty, and other dignitaries.

We’re thrilled to introduce a new indoor children’s program at 3:00 PM at the library. Parents with children are invited to join us from 3:00–4:00 PM for fun and festivities.

At 4:00 PM, everyone is welcome to join us at the library as a massive LED robot amps up the Chanukah spirit and leads us in a festive procession to North School Park.

Highlights at North School Park include:

     Live music to keep the energy high and the celebration joyful!

     Remarks from dignitaries! 

     Hot latkes and drinks to warm you up!

     Delicious doughnuts to enjoy with family and friends!

     The grand Menorah lighting!

    A thrilling Gelt Drop straight from the top of a fire truck ladder—watch as chocolate coins rain down for everyone to enjoy!

• Warm up with a fuzzy Chanukah beanie! Be one of the first 100 people to sign up and receive this free gift. Gifts can be picked up at the library during the indoor event.

• Chanukah Menorahs & Candles will be distributed to ensure that everyone can light the Menorah at home or to bring along on a trip.

Chanukah is right around the corner, which means it’s time for more hands-on fun and Jewish learning at Chabad!

Kids of all ages are invited to the “CKids Chanukah LegoLand”. The program will be packed with epic Chanukah games, activities, and crafts, featuring:

➢    “Menorah Madness” team competitions
➢    a “Mystery Maccabee Quest” adventure
➢    a “Spin and Stack” mega-dreidel showdown
➢    and a fabulous “Glownut Lab” (Yup, that’s glow-in-the-dark lego doughnuts!)
➢    Menorah Lighting and Chanukah sing-a-long

Each child will build their very own Chanukah Dazzler - an awesome light up lego-like Menorah. They’ll also receive Chanukah Superheroes cards to take home with them, encouraging them to be their own Chanukah Superhero by sharing more light and goodness in the world.
